Accessibility
Our goal is a site everyone can use, including every calculator.
Last updated October 12, 2026
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Calculators use labelled fields, explain errors next to the field that caused them, and announce updated results to screen readers.
- Every chart has a text summary and a data table for screen readers, and colors aren’t the only way information is shown.
- Text meets contrast guidelines in both light and dark themes, and the site respects reduced-motion settings.
- Tables reflow on small screens, and touch targets are at least 40 pixels.
Known limitations
Partner websites we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
